In the course of making cakes I am often asked to make flowers. Especially on Ladies cakes and Wedding cakes. Its nice to be able to make flowers that are different and exotic and to be able to recreate someones favourite flowers that will not die and can be kept forever as a reminder of their special day. Here is a selection of a few.

| These flowers are called Protea and are a flower from South Africa and Australia. They were quite a challenge to make but I was very pleased with the outcome as was the Lady I made the cake for -" Beautiful flowers just as I remember them from my time in South Africa, Its like you picked a bunch and put them on the cake, Thank you so much." |
